Wild Foods Retreat

Wild Foods Retreat

Experience a guided foraging event with Kevin Olson, owner of Northwoods Tea, and other knowledgeable professionals. Learn about plant and mushroom identification, foraging techniques, and participate in hands-on workshops.

Discover the diverse flora of Vernon and Crawford County, Wisconsin through our Foraging event pass in May 2024. Join us on a journey through the bluffs and learn about the unique plants and mushrooms found in the area. While the majority of our educational events will be held in Rush Creek State Natural Area, all foraging will take place on private land.

This event offers both educational and retreat opportunities. Whether you come for the education or stay for the retreat, it will be a valuable experience.

We have lodging available for a fee (please contact), but we will find a place for you if you would like to stay overnight. Our foraging event pass includes the option for convenient, on-site lodging for an additional fee. Enjoy the comfort and security of staying overnight without having to venture too far away from the action. Contact us for more information and availability.

Mark your calendars for May 17, 18, and 19, 2024 - the dates for the upcoming Foraging event!
