Coarse cut chaga is a universal size used for various extractions like tea or extracts.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Use in a tea ball infuser, or boil the chaga grounds in a pot of water and let it simmer for at least 10-15 minutes, then filter as needed. One cup of ground chaga to one gallon of water. The first extraction will be the strongest. In about 10 minutes you will have a strong drinkable chaga tea.
After the first extraction, chaga can be stored in the fridge for up to one week. Then it may be used again with the same process explained above until all minerals and antioxidants have been extracted. There will be approximately 2-3 extractions, then the tea will no longer yield its dark color, you can continue extraction by adding more chaga or start a brand new batch.
