Japanese Knotweed is an herbaceous plant introduced from china around world war II that now grows invasively in the USA. It was brought over for many uses. It is a food and a medicine, known for its ability to significantly help cardiovascular health and promote a healthy brain. Japanese knotweed is also very high in ''resveratrol'' which has been used to help those with Lymes disease.
Japanese knotweed is a noxious weed that holds tremendous medicinal value. It is safe and a perfect tea to have in your regime.
We use primarily the root, harvested in early spring.
