Red Osier Dogwood is a uniquely beautiful native shrub that provides food and shelter to nearly 100 species of birds. It takes about 3-4 weeks before they generate roots. when you receive the cuttings in the mail, keep cuttings in wet paper towel in the fridge. Then, about 3-4 weeks before planting take them out of the fridge and place the cut end of the cutting in water about a third to halfway up the stem until ready to plant. NOTE- the cuttings will come with more detailed directions. We are state certified nursery out of central Wisconsin and ship out within 1 week
