INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

WILD LEEK: Also known as the ramp by some, this “wild onion” is said to taste between onion and garlic. The bulbs and leaves from the plant are dried then ground into the main component of this seasoning. All the leeks used come from a sustainable harvest research site in central Wisconsin.
MUSHROOMS: The mushrooms added are a wide range. Dryad saddle, Porcini, Morel, and Black Trumpet. All wild from the woods of Wisconsin. Most of these mushrooms are harvested in central and northern Wisconsin. Morel mushrooms in this seasoning are harvested in Vernon County, WI. The black trumpets are harvested on Madeline Island, WI.
OTHER HERBS: Garlic mustard is one of the most important ingredients. Garlic mustard is a not-so-friendly invasive plant. It can grow so thick that it blocks out sunlight for native tree seedlings. It is well known for destroying natural forests in the southern part of the state. Good thing it is a great edible. The seeds are like wasabi, so garlic mustard has some zip. This strong woodsy herb gives the seasoning its earthy flavor. The garlic mustard is wild-harvested near the kettle moraine in southern Wi.
HOT PEPPER INFUSED SALT: The salt we use is cherrywood smoked sea salt, and infused with our secret hot pepper for that extra kick.
SUGAR: Pure organic maple sugar produced by Northwoods Maple in Merrill, WI.
