Originally introduced from Asia in the mid-20th century, Japanese Knotweed (Reynoutria japonica) has become a well-known botanical in the United States. Historically valued for its versatility, this plant has been used for generations in various culinary and traditional wellness practices. Often overlooked in the wild, Japanese Knotweed is actually a powerhouse of botanical value. We use primarily the root, harvested in early spring. We also offer an extract of Japanese knotweed HERE.

SIDE NOTE-- Although it is a great privacy fence and wildlife magnet, Japanese knotweed can be a noxious weed if it gets established. Some have said during the month of May, after dark on a calm night, you can literally hear it grow!

INGREDIENTS:
Wild Harvested Japanese Knotweed (Reynoutria japonica), Hibiscus, Ginger.

TASTE PROFILE:
Tart, bright, citrusy, and warming ginger notes.

DIRECTIONS:
Steep 1 tea bag in 8oz of hot water for 5–7 minutes. Steep longer for a stronger flavor.

SERVING SUGGESTION:
Enjoy 1–2 cups daily as part of a balanced lifestyle.
